Which action fits your plan?
Tickets have a five-month term. You may pay interest to renew on an ongoing basis, or make principal reductions. Paying interest alone does not reduce principal, and another term incurs further interest. Check the amount and dates on each ticket issued by the branch.
- Not ready to collect the item: ask for the interest needed to renew and check the new due date.
- Want to reduce principal: tell staff and ask for a breakdown separating interest from the principal payment.
- Ready to collect: ask for the redemption balance and required documents. Early redemption is allowed.
Start with the pawn ticket
Read the branch, item details, amount and dates printed on your ticket. General website information cannot determine the status of an individual ticket.
Contact the issuing branch
Give the ticket number and ask the branch to confirm the current status, amount, available options and documents required before you travel.
If the ticket is lost or unclear
If the ticket is lost, damaged, illegible or appears incorrect, contact the issuing branch before taking any other step and follow the procedure it confirms for your ticket.

At the due date, two paths
From the current ticket, the path reaches a decision point and forks.
- Your current ticket
- Decision point: before or at the due date
- Upper path, renew: pay interest for another five-month ticket term. Without a principal reduction the principal stays the same, and the item stays at the branch
- Lower path, redeem: pay principal plus interest and take the item home
Renewal issues a new ticket rather than extending the old one — keep the new ticket in place of the old.

The timeline of a pawn ticket
A guide to the timeline, not a check of a real ticket’s status.
- First point: the day the ticket is issued
- Solid bar: the five-month ticket term, with interest over time
- Faint bar: a reminder to contact the branch before maturity, not an extra grace period
- Last point: check the ticket date and confirm status with the branch; this image does not determine forfeiture
Interest-paid renewal, principal reduction and voluntary early redemption are available. The branch-issued ticket’s figures and dates govern.
