Can jewellery bought from Money OK be pawned later?

How re-pawning differs from a buyback and why a new inspection and conditions apply.

Re-pawning means bringing jewellery bought from Money OK back for a new pawn appraisal. If accepted, it becomes a new transaction with principal and interest. It is not a sale back to the shop, and the amount is not guaranteed to equal what you paid.

Re-pawning is not a buyback

Pawning involves principal, interest, a ticket and conditions for redemption. A buyback is a different transaction. If future pawning matters to your purchase decision, ask about limitations first.

Why a new appraisal is needed

Condition and market circumstances can change. Keep purchase documents and tell staff about repairs, resizing or replaced components. The original purchase price does not automatically determine a future pawn amount.

Prepare for a visit

Bring the item, appropriate original identification and available supporting documents. Call first to check eligibility and what is required. Appraisal is free and does not oblige you to proceed. Standard monthly rates are 2% on the first THB 2,000 and 1.25% on the excess, with a five-month ticket.

Buy for your needs, not a guaranteed future amount

Choose according to use, preference and budget. Re-pawning is a possible later option, not a reason to overspend or assume jewellery can become cash without costs. Before buying · Ask staff.
