Buying gold in payments: when do you collect it?

Money OK’s purchase-and-pawn arrangement, the initial difference, interest and collection after full payment.

You collect the gold after payment is complete, not when you first sign up. Money OK combines the purchase with a pawn transaction: you pay the difference between the sale price and pawn amount first, then pay the remaining principal and interest while the gold stays at the branch.

Understand each amount

Ask staff to separate the purchase price, pawn amount, initial difference, remaining principal and interest. The initial payment is not the total cost. Prices and amounts are confirmed for the actual piece, not from an archive photo.

Rates and ticket term

Standard monthly rates are 2% on the first THB 2,000 and 1.25% on the excess. The ticket lasts five months, with no other fees besides interest. Any reduced-rate promotion must genuinely apply to your transaction.

An example of the amounts involved

Suppose the gold costs THB 20,000 and the pawn amount is THB 10,000. You pay the THB 10,000 difference first. If principal remains unchanged for five full months, interest is THB 700. The later payment to collect the gold is THB 10,700, making THB 20,700 in total.

This is a calculation example, not an item offered for sale. Interim payments, actual dates or a confirmed promotion can change the interest.

Confirm the payment and collection plan

Ask when principal and interest are due, where gold is held, what must be paid before collection, and what happens if your plan changes. Interest-only renewal does not clear principal. Get the transaction details before agreeing.

Decide whether it suits you

Consider the total commitment and essential spending. If you need to wear the gold immediately, this arrangement will not meet that need. Talk to staff · Standard rates.
